Chef Michelle D. van Hees
Chef Michelle van Hees began her career over 25 years ago. Following culinary school, she worked on private yachts. She traveled the world tasting and cooking foods she had only read about before. As her knowledge base grew, so did her passion. It was also during this time she discovered a love for service, setting the perfect table, and creating an ambiance to go along with the food.

Chef Michelle eventually moved back to land and began working for Hollywood icon Bob Hope as his Executive Chef. She was introduced to the splendor of silver service, creating five star meals for family, other celebrities, dignitaries, and a President or two. After 7 extraordinary years, she moved on to Portland, Oregon, where she began working for the Schnitzer family and started honing her skills for event planning, floral design, and table settings. As time went on, she managed and planned large-scale tented events from the valet to the candlelit pathway to the edible flower perched atop the amuse bouche. No detail was left unattended.
